The cabin boasts two levels of covered decks, offering stunning views of the surrounding forest. The entire exterior of the property is treated with scheduled pest management. With that being said, the property is in the woods of a large nature reserve, so an occasional bug sighting comes with the territory.
• Location is important in the mountains! The major cell phone carriers have no issue with phone signal here!
• Located in a gated community (Coosawattee River Resort) with 24/7 security so safety is of no concern.
• There are many entrances to our resort community, but the home is located near the entrance for easy access to all the activities, orchards, vineyards, hiking trails, shopping, and local restaurants.

• All roads leading the home are paved roads and well maintained so no narrow gravel paths , any car can get you here.

Coosawattee River Resort is a 5,500 acre, gated community and nature preserve in the beautiful North Georgia mountains in Ellijay, GA! Ellijay is the Apple and Mountain bike capital of Georgia with endless activities to enjoy! Many deer call the neighborhood home and I can almost guarantee you will see them in their natural habitat each day.
It also offers many amenities for free for the first 8 guests. Your Stay includes access to an Indoor (heated pool)/outdoor pools, mini golf (Putt putt) , pickle-ball, basketball and tennis courts, workout room (weights, exercise bike, elliptical, treadmill), and arcade w/ pool table, ping pong, air hockey and arcade games. I would recommend a day at the pool followed by a round of mini golf in the early evening! These amenities can be access with the use of an amenity pass. Your stay includes 2 passes. Each pass is good for admission of 4 people! If more than 8 passes are needed they can be purchased at the HOA office! Please leave the passes when you checkout otherwise there is a $100 replacement fee.
You also get access to all 5 community parks, access to the River tubing (tube not included) and rope swing, Picnic Area with Charcoal BBQ Grills, fishing pond (No License required), Fenced in Doggy park area (Large and Small dog separation).

The space was excellent for our 6 adults and 4 children! The game room was loved by the kids except the air hockey small table was broken with wires severed underneath so we couldn’t fix it. The kitchen had flour, sugar, salt and pepper and Italian seasoning but no other spices so bring your own. Also no clear wrap or foil. The gas grill is older and only a part of it could be used instead of all burners. Great couches and king size master bedrooms and upstairs with beds and bathroom. We loved the area and enjoyed the indoor pool and miniature golf and one of the outdoor pools which was 25 min. Away. Attentive hosts.

There was plenty of room. Everything was laid out well and it had everything we needed. Everyone in our group said it was one of the best cabins we have stayed at.

The cleanliness was extremely lacking. There was a strong musty odor throughout, and the items provided felt very old and worn out. The sofas, cushions, and rugs were so outdated and dirty that it was uncomfortable to even seat or walk on. Additionally, the kitchen was missing basic essentials like plastic wrap or aluminum foil, which made the stay even more inconvenient.
