Our luxury condo is a 1BR/2BA with resort, pool and ocean views that sleeps 4 comfortably. The spacious condo is fully furnished and has AC. It's located in the Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa, an oceanfront property in the charming, centrally located town of Kapaa on Kauai's Coconut Coast.
There is a king-sized bed in the master bedroom and a full-sized sofa sleeper in the living room. Guests have a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, Sub Zero fridge, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, and travertine floors. An under-the-sink water filter has been installed to give our guests cleaner, better-tasting water and to reduce the use of single-use plastics. There is also a full-sized front-loading washer and dryer in the condo.
There are 2 full baths: the master bath has double sinks, toilet and a deep sunken bathtub and the 2nd bathroom has a sink, toilet and glass-walled shower.
For indoor/outdoor living vibes, there is a lanai off the master bedroom and the living room has a "fresh-air balcony" from which to enjoy the views with a cup of coffee or glass of wine; listen to the ocean waves; and, feel the warm tropical breezes. There is a counter-height dining table for 4, a bistro table for 2 on the master BR lanai, and 2 stools at the kitchen counter. The resort also offers several outdoor gas grills, tables and seating throughout the pool area for resort guests to use.
Take breathtaking walks on the sandy beach as the sun rises. Play in a two-acre water paradise playground with a heated saltwater pool, lazy river, three waterfalls, caves, two water slides, three sandy-bottom whirlpool spas, and a child friendly sandy-bottom pool area. Relax and rejuvenate in the resort’s spa, brand new/hi-tech fitness center, and its award-winning oceanfront restaurant that serves great pupus, dinner, and fabulous entertainment with incredible views.
Waipouli Beach Resort is minutes away from Lihue Airport and the resort is centrally located between the sunny south shores of Poipu and the lush, north shores of Princeville and Hanalei.
Conveniently located across the street are local boutiques, authentic Hawaiian shops, as well as Long's Drugs, ABC Store, Safeway, Foodland, Starbucks, Panda Express, Papaya’s health food store, and much more. Many well-established, eclectic restaurants are within walking distance. Close by are two shopping destinations - Coconut Marketplace and Kauai Village.

Very comfortable apartment for a family of three. Our kiddo loved the fold out couch in the living room, our bedroom was very comfortable, and the bathroom was great. The resort is so fun for kids, the pool is awesome! The listing is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. Air conditioning was amazing. Communication with hosts was friendly, prompt, and helpful. All in all, would stay again!

The room was Great it was very clean and had a lot of silverware, pans, and dishes if needed. Coffee maker was also great. The view of the ocean from the room was awesome! The gym for morning workouts was even a plus!! Just enough free weights, circuit cardio and strength machines for a good workout. We would recommend and give it a 10 out of 10 every time. There is one issue if you want to call it that since the television was not working it kept saying we did not have access all though it is not really a showstopper (lol) but the last night we were there would like to have had it for entertainment as we were relaxing and packing everything up along with ensuring everything was clean. A message kept coming up stating change the HDMI cable or something and kept blacking out and coming back on. Very irritating at the time. But besides that it was Great and We Thank You for the opportunity to rent for 10 days.

Hard to find the correct building in the dark, which most flights there arrive at night. Very frustrating. No attendants at desk all 8 days we were there. Grr. No help at all anywhere to be found. We just simply asked people walking around. Room smelled musty bad. Understandable. Bedroom fan didn’t work on anything but low. Note left saying tv didn’t work in bedroom which we didn’t care about that anyway. Shower stall kinda old nasty. Host NEVER EVER contacted us to welcome us…not available even though she texted us beforehand appearing to be of assistance at any time. Place is probably in the best location of all other places for ocean views plus swimming area in this location. However it is repainted old & musty. Size is good. We will probably stay in different VRBO there on the island if we go back. If you want beautiful scenery & quiet, this would be good if you can handle the smell & absolutely no host communications. She ghosted us. But we figured it out. We heard others have the same problems there so maybe it’s simply that area of VRBO. Nobody could understand why there were no concierge there. Hard to know what to do there, best places to drive, even though we had itinerary planned, booklets & AI don’t tell you everything. All in all…after a 6 hr flight, you’re exhausted & don’t want to drive around forever looking for building D plus none of the buildings are numbered out front. Plus it’s not lit up. Just telling it like it is. Still fun.
