The Mazette of the South:
Location: the Cévennes less than an hour's drive away, the Bambouseraie d'Anduze, the sea 45 minutes away.
The Pont du Gard and the Maison Carrée classified by UNESCO, The Duchy of Uzès. Montignargues is located 20 km from Nîmes, Uzès, Sommières and 27 km from Alès.
Completely new Mazet with optional Spa and swimming pool, built in 2007. Classified 4 stars in Meublé de Tourisme in the Prefecture,
Common entrance on the enclosed land with a parking space (for the Mazet). Access to the Mazet is directly on the swimming pool via a gate.
Composed of a main room on the first floor: living room with reversible air conditioning, dining area/kitchenette and shower room with w.c.
Upstairs: sleeping space for 2 people on the mezzanine, bed 160x200.
Swimming pool open from mid-May to the end of September (depending on the weather).
Access to the swimming pool, protected by an alarm, is directly through the bay window in the main room.
Swimming pool: 4.70 x 9.80m; depth: 1.20 x 1.40m.
The swimming pool is shared by the tenants of the Mazet and the owners.
The Spa is open all year round, optional, prior request before the stay. Access to the pool is free and the weekly stay is for 3 people maximum. The addition of additional beds is not allowed.
Water and electricity are in addition to the rent after meter reading on arrival and departure in order to avoid abuse. The cleaning fee of 50 euros is to be paid on arrival. Our animal friends are not allowed, cats already present on the property.
New: Optional relaxation massages at home.
You will find as much comfort inside as outside to be able to have a pleasant stay.
Our main concerns are: Welcome, Hygiene and Safety of our holidaymakers. The swimming pool is chlorine, cleaning and disinfection are done regularly. lamazettedusud.net

We stayed here during the first week in June and all I can say is that it was perfect! Christophe and and Beatrice and their two daughters were so welcoming right from the start. we arrived on a Sunday evening after the shops had closed and they invited us to have dinnera with them, which was great. They even provided some basics in the fridge to get us started. the accommodation was excellent, very modern inside and very clean. The pool is heated and was lovely to cool down in after sunbathing. the view from the pool and terrace was breathtaking, overlooking the countryside and vineyards. The property is in a small village with no real amenities so a car is essential, which is what you would expect given the peace and quiet the property enjoys. supermarkets and shops are only a 10 or 15 minute drive away. the property is well placed to visit Uzes, Nimes and Montpellier as well as Pont du Gard. We flew in to Beziers , about 1hr, 30mins away and the property was easy to find. We would recommend this property to anyone and we had an amazing holiday and would definitely return, all thanks to Christophe and and Beatrice.
