We always enjoy our stay at the Outer Banks. Good location, close to Food Lion and shops and very close to the 4x4 beach.

We had a great time at Mellow Yellow for a family vacation. The house is extremely comfortable, with roomy family spaces and great private balconies and nooks so we could have some alone time when we needed it. The kitchen and bathrooms were generously stocked which we appreciated so we didn’t have to buy every little thing a vacation requires. We enjoyed the balconies, billiards, the pool and hot tub and very short walk to the beach. We appreciated the hospitality and great service as well as a lovely, comfortable home. Thank you!

Reviewer Comments:
Mellow Yellow is a terrific property in Whalehead. House was very clean, nicely appointed, and included lots of amenities that other properties don't. My family (of 4) had more than adequate space, and the house could have easily accommodated one or even two more families. My children (10-yo & 9-yo) especially loved the game room with the pool table. Location to the beach access walkway was terrific. Pool / hot tub were great and we used every day. And it was nice that there were beach toys / boogie boards / beach cart etc. for us to use.I highly recommend Mellow Yellow to anyone looking to visit Corolla. We have been staying at properties on Whalehead Dr. each summer for 9-years running, and this was our favorite property thusfar! We look forward to returning next year.

The house overall is great...clean, great location to beach and shopping.
The living room furniture is a bit tired and, if we actually had 8 in our party, there would not be enough comfortable seating in the living room.
That being said, we enjoyed our time at Mellow Yellow.
