So many outdoor recreation options during all seasons: White Pass, Mt. St. Helen's, Mt. Rainier, & many other trails, as well as the High Valley Country Club golf course & pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the Mama Bear Chalet. Cozy is definitely the right word for this cabin, but nothing felt too small or cramped. It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids (1 baby). The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. As with other Packwood locations, it’s an easy drive to White Pass. Appreciated the host’s responsiveness in communication as well. A place that should be on everyone’s short list.

The cabin was cute and quiet. A great home base for skiing at White Pass.
