LOCATION :

Dorsoduro is a great area to start exploring the city. Most of the important museums (Peggy Guggenheim collection, Gallerie dell’Accademia, Punta della Dogana – François Pinault Foundation) and churches (Basilica dei Frari, Madonna della Salute) are here. Close to the apartment one of the top must-see: the Squero di San Trovaso, a still-functioning workshop for the manufacture of gondolas, the last of its kind.

Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the Zattere promenade with a good ice-cream or to taste the local food in the characteristic restaurants of the surroundings. Local shops and supermarkets are close and easy to find.

Saint Mark’s square is 10 minutes walking from the apartment and the closeness to the waterbus stop Accademia will simplify your stay.

The closeness to the waterbus stops Accademia and Zattere makes the location of the apartment strategic.
