Completely fantastic stay, inside and out genuinely spectacular. Views are breathtaking, every window has a different postcard quality perspective, and inside is every bit as excellent. Of particular note for me is the quality of the cookware, absolutely top quality, made cooking a treat. Place was spotless on check-in, host met us in the driveway to greet us and answer any questions, very friendly and helpful. The “users’ guide” for the home is also top quality, clear and well laid out with great instruction and helpful information (absolutely try to soaker tub, it’s wonderful). Every part of our stay was terrific, can’t say enough good things about it, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone visiting Saltspring Island, it made our visit a truly memorable experience. We look forward to returning soon.

I had an excellent stay with my two small dogs while working as a nurse on Salt Spring Island. The home (and the view!) are even more breathtaking in person. Eliot has built an amazing oasis in such a quiet and peaceful location. The home is high-end and very comfortable. My dogs and I loved being so close to the Channel Ridge hiking trails and I spent many hours sitting and enjoying the view & scenery. Eliot is a wonderful & helpful host- I felt right at home and hope to be back!

Bamboo Grove is a beautiful home for a restful vacation. We loved staying there. The home is well appointed and has a fantastic ocean view. Eliot was helpful and responsive with any questions that we had. We plan to visit again next year.

If you ever want to be one with nature while staying in an authentic, Frank Lloyd Wright inspired home overlooking the ocean, then this is the place. Stunning house with windows and terraces overlooking forests, nature, and water. The sunsets were a great way to end the day before retiring to cozy beds. The mornings were peaceful with coffee on the balcony followed by a hot rain shower. Hiking and walks to watch the tides roll in were within minutes. We had the best sleep and ate some wonderful meals in the modern kitchen stocked with every appliance. The island is also full of beautiful scenery and has many great places to explore, whether you enjoy art galleries, farmer markets, artisan coffee, or just hiking amongst beautiful nature. Salt Spring Island was the most perfect place for a relaxing vacation.
