Highland House Columbus is a historic home that has been professionally decorated and beautifully blends original character with modern amenities. Located within walking distance to many of Columbus's best bars, restaurants and attractions it's the perfect place to stay!

First Floor:
✓Living space with original wood and pocket doors
✓Living room TV with Roku for streaming from your own accounts
✓Large dining table with place settings for 6 dinner guests
✓Beautiful kitchen with cherry cabinets, granite countertops, and peninsula seating
✓Powder room accessed through the kitchen
✓Sunny nook perfect for reading a good book
✓Welcoming front porch & private, fenced paver patio landscaped with hornbeams
Second Floor:
✓Primary bedroom
✓Second bedroom
✓Full bathroom
Additional:
✓Basement laundry (unfinished basement). Please note that the laundry machines are smaller in size (20" wide instead of a standard 28") - the basement stairs are a bit narrow. If you are expecting to do a lot of laundry, we can recommend a service that will pick up and drop off laundry.
✓Parking is on the street in front of the home and requires a permit. We will set this up for you, for no additional cost, but we only have a permit for one vehicle. If you have more than one vehicle, there will be an additional cost of $3 per night for parking.
You'll have access to the entire home except for a small owner's storage area in the basement, which will be locked.
Most of your interaction will be with Kate & Nat, the property co-hosts. We live in the neighborhood and will respond quickly if you have questions or need anything, but it's unlikely that we'll meet in person.
The Short North Arts District is home to some of the best restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and night life in the city. Park your car and walk everywhere!
Victorian Village (our local historic district within the Short North) features incredible turn-of-the-century architecture and is known for its annual Tour of Homes. Take a Sunday stroll around Goodale Park or along Neil Avenue to enjoy the sights.
Highland House Columbus is located near the intersection of 1st Ave. and Neil Ave.
Bus routes along Neil Ave. make it very easy to get downtown or to The Ohio State University without a car. The area is very walkable to shopping and dining along High St. in the Short North Arts District.
Please be advised that the property does have an exterior security camera system.
The TV does not have cable or access to any free live channels. It is a “smart” TV only. You will need to log into your own streaming accounts to play content on the TV.

We really liked this house. It is well done and a perfect size for 2-4 people and a dog. Great dog walking area too. Good location to get around Columbus as well. Good kitchen, good eating areas. Bathrooms and shower all very good. Would stay again.

Great property and communications. Super easy all along the way.
Wish the patio furniture outside would have been per the listing, but it was just a table and chairs instead.

WOW! This was the best rental experience I have ever had. The location is unreal. The house is set in the most beautiful and peaceful neighborhood and then it is just a short walk to the best coffee shops, shopping, and restaurants in town. This location is also ideal for game days! The communication with the owners and manager was seamless and smooth. The location and the communication really set this place apart from others. You could tell they give extra thought and attention to each comfort of their guests. The house itself is immaculate. The interior design and furniture is top of the line and is so gorgeous and comfortable. You feel like you are in a magazine but it also feels right at home! The amenities are also well thought out from the shower dispensers to the toiletries provided. The house is exactly as pictured and is even more beautiful in person. It was so spotlessly clean as well. I can't recommend this enough!

Beautiful little space to relax, walk to the park with the dog and decompress after moving son into OSU.
