So many flies in house #2.

Stayed 2 nights. Loved the cabin, comfy beds & good lighting next to beds. Beautiful 1 & a half baths. Great appliances in the kitchen. FYI: The closest town is Gay, a mile away & all that's there is a bar that does serve food, but we were so happy the host had left a frozen pizza for us, plus bkfst items as we drove several hrs to get there & really didn't want to get in the car again! The next day we went to Copper Harbor, which is 38 miles north. Mt Bohemia/Nordic Spa/Lac LaBelle is about 23 miles north. Get a reservation for the Harbor House in Copper Harbor, a restaurant on the lake. So delicious! Loved our cabin's deck & lots of seating with a beautiful view of the lake. Lots of wood & kindling provided for a fire in the fire pit. Very pet friendly! We'll definitely stay here again. Our 1st time staying on the east side of the Peninsula.

Dockside Resort vacation homes are the best of rustic luxury. “The Captain” wall-sized windows showcase awesome Lake Superior views, a modern kitchen, fab sinks, cool lighting. Hang out at the marina. One-of-a-kind!
On the shore of the Keweenaw Peninsula, we are water lovers, and a favorite for nature lovers of all kinds.
