Welcome to Tanglewood Retreat, our private, cozy, ski chalet with hot tub and mountain views in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from Killington Resort.
Private, wooded, but centrally located:
• 6 min to base lodges
• 1/2-mile to The Rivershed, The Foundry, Backcountry Cafe, shuttle stop
• 1 mile to Spa at the Woods
• 10 min downhill bike ride to Sherburne MTB trails and Kent Pond
Great amenities to help you relax after a day on the trails and links:
• Private covered hot tub
• Outdoor fire pit w/ Adirondack chairs
• Gas fireplace
• Shuffleboard table
• Large, covered 2nd-floor deck with mountain views
• Well-equipped kitchen
• Boot and glove dryer
• Klipsch premium Bluetooth speakers
First floor:
• Entryway with boot/glove dryer and hooks for all of your gear
• Two queen bedrooms, one with 40" Roku smart TV
• Bunk room with 40" Roku smart TV and mini beanbag chairs
• Washer and dryer
• Jack-and-Jill bathroom contains two half baths joined by a shower and tub room with a heated ceiling lamp
Second floor:
Open living room, dining room and kitchen area with excellent views and access to the large second floor covered deck. Dining area w/ large bay window looking out into woods.

• 55" Roku smart TV
• Klipsch Bluetooth speakers
• Shuffleboard table and games
• Mini fridge
Kitchen is well-equipped with Instapot, blender, George Foreman, food processor, griddle, baking sheets, regular drip and Keurig coffee makers, smores-maker, microwave, induction cooktop, oven, and dishwasher.
Step outside onto the large, covered, 2nd floor porch with seating, hammock chair, and peaceful, treetop mountain views. At night, view the stars and, if you're lucky, maybe even catch the aurora!
Master bedroom with king bed and 50" Roku smart TV and desk with monitor.
Master bathroom with shower, double vanity, and heated ceiling lamp.
Outside:
Covered porch with ski and snowboard holders. Step down onto the covered patio with hot tub.
Side yard with fire pit and Adirondack chairs.
Large driveway with plenty of off-street parking. Four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle required to access property during winter conditions.
Snowshoes available for non-skiers.
We welcome all families, but our home is not childproofed.

Great location, comfy feel, tons of room. Across from boot dryer is a heater under jacket rack. Our boots and snow gear were always dry and warm. Beautiful morning aesthetic, deck has great sitting area for morning coffee. Close drive to slopes at K1. Would love to stay here if we come back.

We were pleasantly surprised. What a charming chalet, fully stocked well equipped. Modern conveniences with a cozy atmosphere the chalet made for a lovely visit. The location could not be better easy access to the mountain and all of the restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again thank you thank you.

Wife and I choose this home for a week away hiking with our eldest pup during the fall. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood setting, set away enough from others that you feel secluded. However, you will only be moments from Killignton and 30 mins from nearby Woodstock.Finding the home was easy with legible numbers at the road with a large gravel drive. Plenty of parking for atleast a few vehicles, though im sure 4WD would be required in the winter. Exterior of home is clean and well kept with much appreciated outdoor lighting for nightime dog outings. While we didnt partake, the hot tub and fire pit were a nice addition if you get the chance. We did use the 2nd floor deck a bit as our pup loved the vantage point.Interior, the home was clean and spacious with all the amenities we needed. It was just (2) of us, so we slept upstairs but all the bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely optioned and included closet space. All the furniture and appliances were in good shape and the living room served as our reprieve after long days of hiking. As I am sure you will read across all of VRBO rentals ever listed, the pillows and bed were not our favorite but not the hosts fault. Everyone is different ! Pillows were a little limp and bed a bit stiff for us. A minor note that should not deter any potential renters.Hosts were easy to communicate with, responsive, and friendly. Overall, this is an excellent home you should consider if you need to be in the area !

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Location to the lodges and restaurants is within minutes. Definitely would stay here again.
