Amazing Views--Perfect Vacation Spot! Hello vacationers! No need to look any further. You've found the perfect vacation spot. If you are searching for a beautiful, well-furnished condominium with gorgeous views of sugar white sand and emerald waters, you have found the right place. Located on the island connecting Destin to Ft. Walton, the Destin West Resort is in walking distance of gulf front restaurants, The Emerald Coast Convention Center, The Gulfarium and The Fishing Pier. Free Beach Service (2 chairs and an umbrella set-up for you from March 1 until Oct 31 ) is included with your stay.
**The tax rate beginning 2023 increased by 1% for our county, making it 6%. The St of FL charges 7% tax.
Our lovely condo is on the 5th floor (#502) of 6-story building directly on the Gulf of Mexico; 1 of only 10 Gulf-front units available at the Destin West Complex. It is beautifully decorated in a 'Pottery Barn-Beachy-Comfy' type feel. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to feel like you are home, including a regular coffee pot and a kcup maker. All 4 rooms have Flat Screen TVs. The Living Room has a 55" Flat Screen TV. The Master, Guest, & Bunk area also have Flat Screen TVs. We also have a sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress in the Living Room. The Master and Guest rooms also have Memory Foam mattresses.
Our wrap-around porch has sweeping views of the ocean, fishing pier, sunset, and pool area. On our wrap-around porch, we have a round table with 4 chairs so you can eat outside in the warm Florida sunshine and listen to the ocean waves. We also have 2 Adirondack chairs for relaxing.
We have Wifi in the condo for your convenience. A Pak-n-Play is also included in case you have a little one.
Being a part of a resort like Destin West means having access to more fun. The waves and sand of the Gulf of Mexico, the large pool, hot tub, kiddy pool, and a second heated swimming pool are yours to enjoy on the Gulfside of the complex. Located on the Bayside of the complex is a 700-foot Lazy River Pool to float in (tubes provided by the Resort), featuring zero entry access for the little ones. There is also a heated pool with waterfall and two hot tubs. You are surrounded by fun.

We absolutely loved our stay here and already plan on coming back year after year! The location was honestly perfect — close enough to everything we wanted, but far enough away from Destin that we avoided a lot of the heavy traffic and congestion. One of our favorite parts was that there was so much to do without even really leaving the beach area. Great food, entertainment, shops, and the pier were all nearby and made the trip incredibly convenient and relaxing.The views from the unit were some of the best we’ve ever had on a beach trip. Waking up and seeing the water every day was something we genuinely looked forward to. The condo itself was amazing, comfortable, clean, and made it easy to settle in and enjoy the week.There was some traffic at times, but honestly that’s expected for the area and it never once caused us any real issues. It also looks like a new bridge into Fort Walton is being built, which should make things even better in the future. We just followed the locals’ advice on timing and avoided peak travel hours, and everything worked out perfectly.Overall, this was one of our favorite vacations we’ve taken and definitely a place we’ll continue coming back to. Highly recommend

Beautiful gulf view! We saw the sunrise from the left side of the balcony and the sunset to the right. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The pools are fantastic. Communication with Shelley was great.

My husband and I visited for or honeymoon Nov. 1st - Nov. 10th. From start to finish communication with the host was consistent and always it seemed within minutes. The condo itself was perfect for us. Immaculately clean, plenty of towels available, even the appliances are great, especially the frig. It was too chilly to use the pool but it was kept in excellent condition and the grounds and buildings are kept up nicely. This particular condo I feel has THE BEST views from the balcony. Perfect view of both the sunrise, sunset, sand and water. We could not have been happier. We highly recommend this condo for your family. We loved it and would stay again.
