Milton House is a wonderful grade II listed 6 bedroom village house near Chippping Norton – perfect to explore the Cotswolds! This property is both dog friendly and family friendly - so it's the perfect accommodation for a family break.
Accommodation
This six bedroom Cotswold holiday home in the heart of Bledington is perfectly suited for family gatherings and catch up with friends. The dog friendly accommodation is laid out as follows:
Ground Floor
Reception Room:
Double aspect room with TV, wood-burner, two four-seater sofas. An arch frames the way to a large dining table with seating for 10
Sitting Room
A feature window looking through to the kitchen, wood burner TV and two three-seater sofas
Kitchen
Spacious kitchen with breakfast bar, AGA, conventional induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. In addition to the under counter fridge, there is a full sized fridge/freezer located in the pantry which is accessed through the games room

Off the kitchen is the garden room style dining area with table and seating for 8

The maximum occupancy for this property is 12 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 3 additional infants (aged 2 or under)
Bed linen and towels are provided (duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic)
On street parking
2 highchairs are available on request (please bring your own travel cot, as this is not provided)

Enormous period property, it took a while to absorb how big it really is.
Bedrooms very well set up, and everybody said the beds were very comfy. Hot water plentiful.
All members of our party had a large room with a king-size bed.
It was a real treat for the single members of our party to have their own room and not to be expected to sleep in a single bed, which I always think is a little unfair.
Bathrooms and toilets were plentiful so there was never a problem with accessing facilities.
The kitchen was lovely and there was plenty of plates, mugs, cutlery etc., I particularly liked the choices in teapots and coffee pots.
As we booked off season, the aga was lit, which makes the kitchen very homely.
The location was very peaceful and there was no traffic noise at all, which as city dwellers was a real novelty.
We found it a little chilly at first, but to be expected when booking off season and the period ceilings are therefore high. It warmed up over the weekend, especially when we lit the fire.
Parking is on street, but plentiful.
Pub is a stone's throw away and there was a warm welcome. I'm glad we booked Sunday lunch as it was very popular.
We wouldn't hesitate in booking again.

We had an amazing weekend in Milton House. It's easily accessible from the train station and all the rooms are so cozy!

A large house providing a get together for a group of friends. The house has six double bedrooms, over two floors, each floor having one bathroom, with another on the ground floor. All didn’t have any locks, bizarre, so make sure everyone knows this! The stairs are smaller than normal and steeper, so not ideal for all age groups. The location is good for the Cotswolds and the village pub, a 200m walk away is excellent. On street parking, which caused no issues.
