Offering a lovely space for family and friends to come together and enjoy the beauty of Polzeath, Trevells is a charming three-bedroom cottage where fond family memories are made in abundance. Settled peacefully within the picturesque stables at Roserrow, you are close to wonderful sandy beaches that are a surfers paradise and rolling rural landscapes idyllic for walking, beloved pooch in tow.
With its ‘upside down' layout, discover two king-size bedrooms on the first floor, both offering the opulence of en-suite shower rooms. The ground floor also houses a family games room with a pool table, the perfect entertainment, should you be kept inside by the weather.
Ascending to the first floor, you'll be welcomed by a delightful open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. Open up the patio doors on a summer's day and allow fresh air and natural light to flood the space with ease. The kitchen area comes fully equipped with everything you'll need to rustle up delicious family dinners. Including an electric oven, gas hob, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. Enjoy dining as a family before settling in for the ultimate games night around the lovely dining table, which provides seating for up to six guests. There is also a breakfast bar with two stools for leisurely dining. The sitting area provides comfy sofas, a Smart Television and electric fire. You will also find the third bedroom on this floor, complete with two comfy single beds and the family bathroom with a bath with overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
From the first floor, you have direct access through the patio doors to the south-facing terrace and garden area. Alfresco moments are simply a delight here. Get lost in a holiday read while soaking up the Cornish rays or fire up the charcoal barbecue on a balmy summer's evening and make the most of every last drop of sunlight. Tevells warmly welcomes your four-legged friend to come along for the adventure, they will love exploring this wonderful area just as much as you will! The picturesque Polzeath beach is a lovely 20-minute walk on a public footpath surrounded by wildflowers and fields that goes through the lush valley across the golf course. Polzeath has several lively cafes, delicious seafood restaurants, beach boutiques, and surf shops. The Point at Roserrow Golf and Country Club is fantastic for a round of golf or just some well-needed time for rest and relaxation in the health club offering a state-of-the-art gym, spinning room, indoor pool, sauna, steam room and tennis court.

We had a superb holiday at Trevells in June 2021.
The property is very spacious - well able to accommodate 3 families and with a 4 month old baby, and very well equipped including a washing machine and dishwasher and plenty of kitchen utensils and equipment.
It also has a good sized garden and a good BBQ on the patio.
The bedrooms are also very spacious with comfortable accommodation.
The location is excellent, being a 20 minute or so walk to the superb Polzeath beach - which is excellent for a family holiday and for swimming and surfing. (The seabed has a very gentle slope so is very safe).
There are also other excellent things to see and do in the area including Rick Stein's restaurants at Padstow and a fantastic winery.
We also were extremely pleased with the help given to us by Cornwall Hideaways - they are absolutely outstanding.
Will recommend both Cornwall Hideaways (already have!) to others and also Trevells itself. Great holiday. Will stay again.

Have stayed in similar properties before so much as expected. Would have preferred an electric dryer for towels etc coming back from the beach and generally given potential lack of drying days. Second set of linen expected for the 2 week stay was not in the house as expected. Had to wait until Monday for the matter to be resolved once the office re-opened. A particular issue for me was the well used frying pans on a gas hob. These heated up rapidly, became distorted and made using them a challenge.

Tevells is in a lovely spot of Cornwall, a lovely walk into Polzeath. The bedrooms are so large, but the ensuites could do with being larger and need updating. The duvet was far too hot, all manmade fibre and too thick for early September. Otherwise bed very comfortable. The kitchen and living area was so lovely, comfortable, not posh, but really great with young children. The kitchen area was well stocked with anything needed. But again in places it had been well used. The tv caused a few problems, because we are not that savvy with internet only tv! I did feel the cost of hire was expensive, compared with other properties on that site. Having said that we had a fabulous week there and would certainly repeat it and have recommended it to anyone we speak to.

First the good: The cottage is in a great location, short walk to Polzeath. The garden is big and great for our little dog to come and go as he pleased.
The bad: The whole cottage smelt very damp, felt damp, and there were lots of cobwebs and dust in the bedrooms. Bits on the carpet. The shower tray filled up with water as the pipe was clogged, and then the drains smelt. That mixed with the strong smell of damp wasn’t nice.
We aired the house as much as possible. Windows and doors open full whilst we were in. The upstairs smelt strongly like fried food, fried oil or something. There are large stains on the carpet and the previous guests toothpaste remnants in the bathroom….
