The hosts were absolutely amazing. They provided a very warm welcome along with deliveries of croissants, bread and wine - all of which were totally unexpected but very much appreciated. The apartment is light and airy and has the most fabulous ever changing view. Everything you could possibly need is made available in the apartment. This includes a couple of bicycles if required. There are some restaurants and shops nearby and a lot more in Arcachon itself, which is easily accessible by bus. If you like walking, it is also certainly doable. If you have a car, underground parking is available in the apartment complex. The large apartment balcony, and the view from it, is the star of the show - apart from the hosts of course! The ‘estuary’ is beautiful and a must if you like birdwatching. Oyster huts are just around the corner if you get peckish!

Our apartment was attractive, bright, clean and very well equipped. The terrace was an excellent size with both dining and lounging furniture, and provided beautiful views out over the water. Yannick was a very welcoming host who went out of his way to show us around the area and gave us very useful advice on what to see and how to get around. He was prompt in all his responses to all my communications. We loved the welcome gifts that were left, and the fresh pastries that appeared at the door! This was a very positive experience for us.

Comfortable apartment with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The friendly owner was very helpful and welcomed us with a bottle of Bordeaux wine and our first and last morning delivered fresh bread and croissants to the door! Arcachon has many good shops, restaurants, beaches and many walking and cycle routes nearby.
