Location:

Just 5km from Split, Solin places you within easy reach of one of the Adriatic’s most compelling cities. At the heart of Split lies Diocletian’s Palace, a remarkably preserved Roman complex woven into the fabric of the old town, alongside Saint Domnius’ Cathedral and an array of historic squares and stone streets. Museums such as the Archaeological Museum, the Gallery of Fine Arts and the Mestrovic Gallery offer further insight into the region’s cultural heritage, while Bacvice Beach is a lively spot to swim or witness a game of the local pastime, picigin.

To the west, Marjan Forest Park provides walking trails and sweeping coastal views, while the wider Dalmatian coastline reveals beaches and seaside villages including Podstrana, Stobreč and Jesenice. From here, boat trips depart to nearby islands such as Brač. For history closer to home, explore the Roman ruins of ancient Salona in Solin or visit the hilltop Klis Fortress overlooking the city.
