This inviting 3-bedroom, 2-level cabin is the ideal family retreat, featuring everything you need for a memorable stay – from a pool table and foosball to a private hot tub and spectacular mountain views. Set in a peaceful neighborhood, Buendia Cabin offers a serene backdrop of open fields where local wildlife come to relax, all while keeping you close to fun outdoor activities and Ruidoso's top attractions.
Inside, the cabin boasts a cozy living area on each level, perfect for unwinding as a group by the gas fireplace or enjoying a family movie night on the TV. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with essentials for creating home-cooked meals, making family dining a breeze.
Outside, Buendia Cabin treats guests to two spacious back decks, complete with comfortable seating and a private hot tub where you can take in the views of Sierra Blanca. For those who love exploring, a scenic walking path around the Links Golf Course, a children's playground, a small basketball court, and a soccer field are all just a short stroll away – ideal for kite flying or a game of catch in warmer weather.

The fine print, what to expect: Our cabins include basic cable, satellite or streaming television, basic cooking utensils, propane gas grill (propane provided), washer and dryer (if applicable- please look at the amenities), towels and bed linens for guest use along with heating for winter. Our homes come equipped with either a drip or Keurig coffee maker. *Linens and bath towels *Extra blankets and bedding *Spa towels for properties with spas/hot tubs. While our kitchens are fully equipped with glassware/cookware/utensils/dishes, etc. this does not ensure that all homes will have a blender, crock pot, spices, coffee, or condiments. Please call ahead to confirm if items such as these are available. If not, we ask that you bring your own. Basic toiletries in the Master bathroom only are: * bar soap *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom. Basic toiletries in all additional bathrooms (if applicable) are: *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom, *one (1) travel-sized bar soap and/or facial soap. Basic supplies in the home: *five (5) All-Clear laundry pods, *dish detergent in pod or liquid form (quantities may vary and/or be limited), and three (3) Lemi Shine rinse agent in single-use cups (for homes with dishwashers), *liquid dish soap in (at minimum) a partial container (may only be in homes without dishwashers- check amenities to ensure the home you booked has a dishwasher), *two to three (2-3) rolls of paper towels, *two (2) trash liners in each waste basket; one (1) prepared in a basket and at least one (1) in the bottom or under the sink. We encourage guests to please be mindful of the supplies we provide and always bring extras as housekeeping does not deliver more than what is required to be left in the homes. We highly encourage guests to be prepared with access to chains and/or 4-wheel drive in winter months. Firewood is not provided for homes with wood-burning fireplaces

Only issue really was the hot tub seemed to have a leak. We tried to add water but it leaked over night again and would only hold about half capacity. Everything else was great.

The cabin was clean and well stocked. It offered everything as discribed in the listing. We loved that it was close to town and still had the cabin feel, animals included. The yard could use some clean up and the lock on the hot tub is broken but it was a great stay.

The interior of the property is dated, but outdoor areas are downright messy and run down. Very simple fixes not done that could have totally changed the entry porch, balcony and hot tub area.Instructions left weren’t clear for calling with problems. Once we got a hold of maintenance we were quickly helped. Problems were….no TV remote in the Master, ice maker didn’t work, oven did not work plus NO COFFEE!But the biggie….HOT TUB!Missing remote was replaced, ice maker couldn’t be fixed immediately but didn’t present a big problem. The oven though was a problem, we had spent a bit of time trying to get it turned only to find out it was out of order and maintenance had been waiting on a part….this is unacceptable! We should have been informed! Now, the coffee! There were two coffee pots in the kitchen….neither one a Keurig style. But, no coffee in the cupboard. I was told that coffee wasn’t provided….WHAT? I had pods with me, but of course those couldn’t be used.The awesome maintenance man bought a huge toaster oven that could cook biscuits. He also bought a new Keurig and said that all the properties provided coffee and they were normally equipped with pod style coffee pots. The hot tub must have had a leak because after the first day when housekeeping had probably filled it, each afternoon/evening we went to use it was half empty. After filling the tub it was too cold to use. We will never again rent a property managed by HUMMINGBIRD CABINS!
