We had a great stay on this little island on the lake. The views were exceptional! It was easy to get in and out of the island and access the city and historic downtown. Our family used the pool and which was close to the rental. I would suggest to take your own beach towels if you need more than two. Do note that the rental is two flights of stairs down from the parking. It was fine with our family, but I know if traveling with older folks, this could be tough. Communicating with the host was very easy as was check in and check out. There is a dock if you need, but we didn't utilize it. I suggest you check out the Historic Bath House museums and Bath house experience. The down town has a bunch of interesting stores and restaurants.

This one is complicated. I don't like giving a negative review but... It's a great property with a great view. It just seems like the owners are not invested in keeping the property up. The front door frame looked like someone had tried to kick it in and the carpets had a variety of stains. These were not little stains but large stains that would necessitate replacing the carpet which they apparently had decided not to do. it's also challenging to feel safe in a place that you can't really secure the front door. Another thing they didn't say in the property description is that it is two flights of stairs to get into the property. For those with physical challenges, this would have been good to know. But with a little attention to the property, this would have been a five star review. The property manager was great, not his fault.
