The Platte Camper - The Platte Camper - This 37ft 5th wheel camper is located on part of our 20 acres of woods. This RV has water, electricity, Heat/AC, a refrigerator, stove top and cooking stove, toilet, shower and other basic necessities. The camper is locates down our rail about 300 ft from the main house and 100-200ft from other campers on the property. There is a shared outdoor hot tub that is available for use. We do have a fire pit just outside the camper. There is a nice trail through the woods.
PLEASE NOTE - This is an older camper in the woods. We try to keep it clean and cozy, but don't expect a plush hotel at a camper price. Most people who understand this leave us great feedback, but those who expect a great hotel room at a camper price are sometimes disappointed. There are many other lodging options in the area that are much nicer, but you also have to pay two to three times more - especially in the prime summer months.

Nice fifth wheel camper. Property is in a good location for seeing all northwest Michigan has to offer.

ABSOLUTELY, FANTASTIC! 10 out of 10! Definitely planning on coming back next year. Scott was quick to respond to all my questions and messages before, during, and after our stay. Early check-in was available and made the start to our trip so much easier since we live hours away. When we arrived there were camping chairs on the porch. Camper was fully stocked, clean, quiet, and peaceful.The amount of included amenities provided were above and beyond what I was expecting. Quality Wi-Fi, cable, and a roku tv were fantastic for our down time. The fully stocked kitchen included dish soap and paper towels! While the broom was nice, the vacuum was a definite plus for the inevitable sand and dirt tracked in. Then there's the bathroom supplies. Hand soap? Extra toilet paper? Hotel style shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers? On to the linens. Extra towels? . Quality bedding, pillow cases, and extra pillows? .No issues with heating/cooling, plumbing or electricity. Hot tub was clean and toasty.We even got to borrow some frisbees, a football, and giant shovel for some beach fun.Great location 15 min. from Frankfort where we spent time at the beach, Frankfort Dairy Maid (SO WORTH IT!), a park with a playground, giant see saws, tennis/pickle ball courts, basketball courts, and a skate park (great for scooters!) Also 30 min. from Sleeping Bear Dunes.Can't express how great our experience was. This camper made our trip sooo much easier and better.

Great place to stay, fridge has a slight stench to it but other than that it worked for what we needed.
