Overall the place was very nice and clean. We were able to enjoy the beach and the pool. We felt safe and had a good experience. Everyone in the neighborhood was friendly. We would recommend.

Very old beds that sagged resulting in a unsupported valley in the middle of the mattress. Hard to enjoy sleep when the bed is so uncomfortable. Hot water temperature set dangerously high. luckily no one got scalded. Wasp nest with active wasps under the front wooden steps.

Not having been to Topsail before, we really enjoyed the location of this neighborhood - at the southernmost end of Topsail island. We loved walking down around the point to the sound side - and did it multiple times during the week. The house was clean but smaller than we probably needed for 5 adults. The loft, with a futon on the floor wasn't a comfortable option for big people - but kids would probably love it. [Very fort-like for kids. :)] We liked the ground floor space with the outdoor shower and plenty of room to park our cars and store our beach stuff when we weren't using it.
