This private home is located in the charming Del Mar Beach Colony area. Steps to the white sand beaches, with staffed lifeguard towers and well kept restroom facilities.
Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac with friendly neighbors this beautiful, private home is perfect for families or small groups. U-VERSE TV & WIFI, Apple TV, and wireless indoor/outdoor surround sound stereo -all included! Our home also has AIR CONDITIONING which is a nice luxury in Del Mar.
The fenced in backyard is truly the place to entertain - a hot tub to soak and relax in, a built in BBQ and outdoor fridge, wireless sound system to listen to all your favorite music as you dine outside and plenty of room for kids to play and for you to entertain without feeling cramped. It is an easy walk to the beach, or down the street to the unique shops and restaurants in Del Mar. Great surf beaks within walking distance!
The home has 3 bedrooms -
Master has a king bed with tempurpedic mattress, Guest Room has a queen bed with new pillowtop mattress, Kids Bunk room has 4 new twin pillowtop mattresses, and the Family Room has a Sectional with a SLEEPER SOFA which makes into a full size bed.
A Remodel just finished Nov 2024, key features of the home include:
-2 full Baths and outdoor shower
-Parking for '4' in the Newly Widened and Paved Driveway
-Built in Bar b que with Outdoor Refrigerator
-Hot tub
-Air conditioning
-Laundry Room with full size washer and dryer
-remodeled kitchen
-remodeled bathrooms
-private turfed backyard
We keep it fully stocked with everything you could need for a day at the beach (towels, boogie boards, cooler, lounge chairs, buckets and toys) as well as a super cool cart to transport it all hassle free. After your fun day at the beach, shower off the sand in the outdoor shower and put your surf board in our rack!
Just like our home, Del Mar has something for everyone. Famous for its beaches, fairgrounds and the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club 'Where the turf meets the surf', there are many other reasons that make Del Mar so special. Torrey Pines State Park is 5 miles down the road and is a beautiful place to hike all year. Its centrally located to many of San Diego's favorite 'must sees' -Scripps Aquarium, Legoland, Sea World & SD Zoo are all short drives (20-30 min) and Disneyland is a 2hr drive. Great surf, sunshine, picturesque coastline, white sand beaches, tennis, fine dining, horse racing, and world class golf -Del Mar will keep all your friends/family fully entertained.

The house is in a great neighborhood just two blocks from the beach. As much as we enjoyed the beach, however, we used and enjoyed the backyard even more. We were traveling with a 2 year old granddaughter, and the fenced backyard with artificial turf was PERFECT. She could run around and play and not get dirty. There is so much seating outside that it felt like a resort. We grilled several nights, and ate all of the dinners outside. It was lovely.The house inside isn't huge, but it's functional and very well appointed. I don't know if I'd stayed in a rental with so much cooking supplier, dishes, glasses etc. We also appreciated that it was well stocked with stuff like aluminum foil and saran wrap, etc. -- all that stuff you need a little bit of but don't want to buy a whole roll. Communication with Stephanie was A. Check in was easy. I would recommend Del Mar in general and her house in particular. It was super comfortable and relaxing.

This was my first VRBO rental and Stephanie (our property manager) was amazing! The house photos were exactly as the house presented...clean, modern, comfortable space and beds--our stay was perfect. Stephanie was so patient with all of my questions and her response time was incredible. She was kind, personable and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The house was a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The hot tub was sparkling clean and such a treat after our long days. We even had a blast on the arcade machine. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the dishes, cups, etc. that we needed. The house directions were printed and clear with helpful pictures as reference. Our stay was perfect and we loved the house and the area. Highly recommend this property. If we visit the area again, I want to stay in the same house. LOVED IT!
