The Chapel is a luxurious holiday home which forms part of a converted church and sleeps four guests across two beautifully decorated bedrooms. The Chapel is bursting with colourful interiors and fun artwork whilst offering a cosy and high end stay. On the ground floor is an open plan living/dining room which is flooded with natural light from the skylight, a well equipped modern kitchen and a fun and quirky cloakroom. Upstairs, are two uniquely decorated bedrooms with a family bathroom.
Accommodation
This two bedroom holiday accommodation in Stow-on-the-Wold is perfectly suited for those who may be visiting the Cotswolds without a car as everything is on your doorstep. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

Shared entrance to the building with neighbouring properties and private entrance to The Chapel
Kitchen
A modern kitchen with electric oven and four-ring electric hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, combined washing machine and tumble dryer and breakfast table with two stools

Under stair cloakroom with loo and basin
Living/dining room
Contemporary interiors with three-seater sofa, two armchairs, Freeview TV with Blu-Ray DVD player
Dining table with seating for four, armchair and book case with selection of books and DVDs

King size bed, two bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers, hairdryer and wall-mounted hooks for hanging
Additional hanging space is provided in the closet on the landing

Double bed, two bedside tables with lamps, window seat, under bed storage, wall-mounted hooks for hanging

Modern bathroom with L-shaped bath with overhead rain shower and separate handheld shower attachment, loo, basin, heated towel rail, mirror with integrated lighting and shaving/toothbrush socket

The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)
Bed linen and towels are provided
Free on street parking is readily available a short walk away from the property
Travel cots and highchairs are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them

Forming part of a converted church, and set over two floors, this property has a steep, winding staircase, which could pose difficulty to guests with limited mobility, or carrying babies, both in terms of their general movement and their ability to quickly exit the house in the event of an emergency
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates

The decor was very unique and we loved it. The second bedroom was quite small but the beds were very comfortable and the wardrobe on the landing was very useful. Everything you could need was provided from tea and coffee to dishwasher tablets. Location was perfect for exploring the area and Stow itself a very pretty village with lots of lovely eateries and a handy CoOp nearby.

The Chapel was a recommendation from my daughter and I’m so glad we booked there as it was in the perfect location, so central to so many parts of the Cotswolds. The house is full of character, cozy and comfortable . The interior design is fabulous. The owner was quick to come back with an answer on a query.
Would definitely go back again.

I stayed here with my adult daughter, central location and a very comfortable stay. We requested 2 keys but only got 1 key which was inconvenient due to a lot of rain and dull exterior lighting in the evening it was difficult to operate the Keybox to leave keys for each other. On our last day there was a leak from the skylight in the Dining area. We were told it would be fixed in a few days time and hope it is as would like to return to stay in the future. Appreciated the flexible check-in check out time. The code for rubbish disposal should be made clear in the Guidance Book.
Stow is a great place to stay and quite a good bus service to Moreton, Bourton on the Water and Cheltenham. We went in January and found lots of places to eat and shop. Need to book to dine in Pubs and Cafes close at 3pm. Friendly atmosphere overall and helpful customer service.
Disappointed with sub standard fish and chips from Greedy's at Stow.
