Centrally located on the Kau South coast with Emerald Green Olivine roads in a Christmas Berry Forest, without all the hustle and bustle of Kona or Hilo Located halfway between Hilo and Kailua Kona and close to Green Sands Beach and volcano National Park, Black Sands beach. Ocean views, deck, granite counter tops, stainless sink, solid hickory flooring, ceiling fan, tile kitchen and bath. This place has all the Comforts of Home. 3 restaurants within 4 miles. Hana Hou, Shaka's, Kai Loki's, and the food truck in Naalehu.

The property was at the end of a long, bumpy road which felt a little less convenient but still in a good area with easy access to town. We were a little confused about where the door to the Vrbo was but figured it out pretty easily. The Vrbo had plenty of space and luxuries to accommodate guests. We really liked the reclining couch in the living room and how private our stay felt despite the owner living in the main house. The only thing of note is probably the ants, we had our suitcases open on top of a dresser and by the last day there were more than a few ants inside them even though there was no food left out. Overall, a solid Vrbo to explore the Southern part of the island!

Our host was very helpful and our place was very comfortable and very well equipped. Naalehu is a nice place to start from on the south end.
