Lad and Fellow

Discover the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and location at Lad and Fellow, a delightful property in the heart of downtown Saugatuck, just steps from restaurants, galleries, shops, and parks. This inviting retreat is made up of the main house, Handsome Fellow, and the guest house, A Quiet Lad, providing flexibility and space for families or groups seeking both privacy and togetherness.

Handsome Fellow sprawls across one level and exudes character with its bright, open living spaces and a kitchen full of original retro touches. Cook up a meal and step out on the screen porch where you can eat in the warm summer breeze. The living room is designed for relaxation, with comfortable seating and a Smart TV for streaming favorite shows and movies. Three thoughtfully furnished bedrooms—ranging from cozy to roomy—and two full bathrooms ensure everyone has their own comfortable space.

A Quiet Lad, the charming guest house, is an open-concept studio with a queen bed, kitchenette, Smart TV, and a full bathroom with shower-tub combo. French doors lead to a private deck where you can soak in the sunshine with morning coffee or an evening drink, offering a peaceful retreat in the middle of downtown.

The other outdoor spaces are equally inviting. The screened porch with dining area, multiple decks, and a fully fenced backyard create the perfect setting for meals, relaxation, and play, including plenty of room for furry friends.

The property's central location means a flat, easy walk to all downtown has to offer. Saugatuck and its neighboring Douglas offer a vibrant calendar of events and endless attractions year‑round. Stroll along the scenic riverfront boardwalk, explore the unique boutiques, art galleries, and charming cafes that line downtown, or catch a show at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. Seasonal favorites include the Friday Farmers Market, summer concerts in the park, art fairs, and wine tastings at local vineyards. Outdoor lovers can take a scenic ride on the Chain Ferry, hike the dunes and wooded trails at Mt. Baldhead, or spend sunny days at iconic Oval Beach and Saugatuck Dunes State Park. Whether you're into food, nature, shopping, or arts and culture, Saugatuck's lively and welcoming community ensures there's always something to enjoy just moments from your doorstep.
