Cosy apartment house "Hubertus", 4 storeys. In the district of Gryfelblatte, 600 m from the centre, in a quiet position, south-west facing position. In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system. Stepped path (40 steps) to the house. Supermarket 450 m, restaurant 70 m, bakery 600 m, 10 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Wiestibrücke" 230 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 600 m. Mountain railway 450 m, ski rental 450 m, ski bus stop 230 m, ski school, children's ski school 850 m. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house.
4-room apartment 63 m2 on 1st floor, south-west facing position. Simple and cosy furnishings: living room with TV and radio. Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 190 cm). Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 bed (90 cm, length 190 cm). 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). Exit to the balcony. Kitchen (oven, 3 ceramic glass hob hotplates, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine) with dining table. Bath/WC. Carpet. Large balcony, south facing position and west facing position. Balcony furniture. Beautiful view of the Matterhorn. Facilities: Internet (WiFi). Please note: non-smokers only.

Our family was personally greeted by the gracious host. Property immaculately maintained and we found everything we needed for the few days we stayed. Stunning mountain / Matterhorn views from family room as well as the 2 bedrooms that we used (there was a 3rd but we didn’t need it). We highly recommend

Lovely simple property had everything you could need . Host was excellent and keyholder, there was a bit of a language barrier but we got through the check in. Amazing view of the Matterhorn. Property was nice and clean, would have liked more towels and there were no washcloths but we got through. Also would have liked to know that there was an uphill trek with our suitcases. All in all an amazing experience we had a blast! Thanks so much….Cheers!!!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Plenty of room for the three of us (sleeps up to 5) and impeccably clean. Fantastic views of the Matterhorn from the balcony.The just met us when we arrived and in spite of a language barrier (we only speak English) the communication was fine.It’s a bit of a walk up from the train station but well worth it. We could stay here again and highly recommend this place!

I stayed here in April of 2025 with a couple friends and we had a nice stay. The location was a short walk from the Sunnegga ski train and the main street downtown. There were some stairs leading up to the unit but it was very manageable, even with bags. The unit itself was clean and had plenty of room for us to hang out comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked except there was no dishwasher. To check-in we met the house manager who lives on a higher floor. Despite our language mismatch, he was very friendly and gave us a quick tour of the unit. Good value overall.
