Drive in through the secure gated entrance into Wellesley Park and pull up outside Wellesley House, open the gate to your private lawned garden and step inside where our holiday home awaits you.
Inside, the ground floor is made up of the beautiful open plan living space. The living area, with its comfortable seating, large Smart TV (free channels are accessed only through signed in applications on the living room Smart TV) and realistic electric fireplace, it is the perfect place to cosy up and relax after a day either on the estate or exploring the local area. The extremely well-equipped kitchen/dining room has a large fridge/freezer, a range cooker with electric oven and gas hob and all you will need to create your meal at any time of day or night! The dining area has a large table and chairs, perfect for gathering around for a meal or to play games. Head up the gorgeous central oak staircase with its glass panelling on the sides to the first floor, where you will find the large family bathroom with double-ended bath, large shower and heated towel rail; the master suite with large super king-size bed, en-suite with walk in shower and heated towel rail and a walk-in wardrobe. the twin bedroom is located next to the bathroom. On the second floor you have two extremely spacious bedrooms, both with king-size beds and en-suite shower rooms.
Outside, your garden is completely enclosed and has seating area as well as lawned area to enjoy.You have full access to Wellesley Park’s fabulous leisure complex, with a fantastic indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room, gym, library and outdoor tennis court (first come first served basis). The pool and gym are bookable for private use with booking slots and are included in the price of your stay. Set just 2 miles from the smallest city in the England, Wells, which can be reached on foot in just 40 minutes or 5-minute drive and has an array of shops, bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. The Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty can be reached on foot also for fabulous walks not to mention nearby choice of stables. Slightly further afield you have the ancient historic town of Glastonbury, famous for both its music festival and its tor, it has a rich history to explore and uncover. The larger cities of Bath and Bristol can be reached in under an hour by car and there are plenty of National Trust properties, cultural events and shows to visit and enjoy.

What a fantastic place to stay. The house was immaculately clean and very well kitted out. The food left in the fridge for us was an unexpected treat.The lights in one of the top floor bedrooms weren’t working when we arrived and although the owners did their best to get them repaired as quickly as they could it did take a few days. We did think the lounge would benefit from more comfortable seating and getting the tv to work was a challenge. We didn’t use the on-site facilities. Wellesley house is well placed to explore the area and all local facilities are available in nearby Wells.We were a group of seven friends from Somerset, Mid Wales and Ohio US and had a wonderful stay.

We (3 couples) stayed Mon to Fri in Wellesely House, what a fantastic place to get away from it all. Beautiful accommodation, very well equipped, lovely quiet location.The only negative thing I can say is that while we were there, the water temperature of the swimming pool was freezing, meaning one win was enough for me and had to go into the steam room to warm up after. Also the sauna wasn't working.Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wellesley Park, it was just unfortunate that the facilities were disappointing during our stay.

Thank you so much for a beautiful holiday.The house was immaculately clean. And thanks for the food that you left in the fridge for us. The bedrooms had a very luxurious feel with very comfortable beds (first time ive had such comfort on a holiday)and excellent showers throughout. The spa was immaculately clean..only slight downside was that the pool was too deep for my 9 year old to stand. The whole estate was beautiful and well kept. We also felt the living space was a bit small and enclosed but other than that the location was great..wells is a lovely city with all amenities. And there was plenty of activities to do within half hour drive from the estate.Overall it was a lovely holiday with great memories. Thank you!

The house was beautifully decorated , comfortable and well equipped surrounded by similar properties in beautiful countryside. Guy was very helpful and easy to communicate with providing lots of detailed information.
