At 18 km is Carrara, the most important center in the world for the extraction and processing of the famous Carrara marble, a very valuable white marble extracted from the nearby Apuan Alps. The charming five sea view villages of Cinque Terre, one of the most beautiful Mediterranean areas of Liguria, are about 77 km away. Do not miss the natural waterfalls of Malbacco (4 km).
