The apartment is in a great location overlooking the beach, and the proximity is truly its best feature. The unit was clean and ready for our use upon arrival. We have stayed at Suntide many times and are very familiar with the property, which is why we continue to choose it.The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. However, this particular unit could benefit from a few small kitchen upgrades that would greatly improve the guest experience. We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days but were provided with only two dishwasher pods, which was not sufficient. The kitchen also had limited cutlery—only five forks—making it difficult to manage meals without constantly hand-washing or running the dishwasher.VRBO stays are often chosen for the feeling of being at home, and a few basic amenities can really enhance that experience. There was no salt or pepper, and we could not find a pair of scissors, which became inconvenient enough that we ended up purchasing and leaving a pair for future guests.The patio area is lovely, but the outdoor chairs lack cushions and are uncomfortable, which takes away from enjoying the outdoor space.While we continue to choose Suntide for its location and overall amenities, this unit did not feel very “homey” due to missing kitchen basics and patio comfort. This feedback is shared constructively so the owners are aware and can make small improvements to make the stay even better for future guests.

The exterior of the building is very worn and dated. The view and distance to the beach was fabulous. However, the master bathroom had a constant sewer smell. Also, the power was out for half a day and there was no communication from the host to give any updates.
