Perfectly located between the western town of Cody and the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, this home places you in the middle of adventure. World class fishing access on the Shoshone River is less than a quarter mile away, making early morning casts effortless. With panoramic views of the river and surrounding mountains from nearly every window, Riverhouse invites you to relax and enjoy the beauty of Wyoming. Riverhouse is dog friendly, so your 4-legged family member can join you!
Step inside to an open main level filled with natural light and sweeping views. The living, kitchen, and dining areas flow together, creating an easy space for gathering after a day of fishing, hiking, or exploring Yellowstone. The main level bedroom features a king bed, Smart TV, deck access, and unforgettable views to greet you each morning. The full bathroom on this level offers a tub and shower combination. A spiral staircase leads to the lower level, where you will find a private queen bedroom and second bathroom with a shower, offering separation and privacy for couples or friends traveling together. The lower level also includes a dedicated office space with a large desk facing the windows, a washer and dryer, books on local history, and board games for relaxed evenings. Seasonal window air conditioning units are provided in both bedrooms for added comfort.
Outdoor living truly sets Riverhouse apart. First and foremost, the pictures do not do this place justice. The river behind the property was one of our favorite parts of the stay. It was incredibly relaxing to open the screened door and listen to the water.The property is pet-friendly, clean, and everything worked as expected. One thing worth noting is that the photos make the house appear much smaller than it actually is. We had four adults staying there and were very comfortable. The home does feel like it has been added onto over time, but that wasn't an issue for us.A few things future guests may want to know: if you have difficulty with stairs, the older spiral staircase to the lower level could be challenging. For those not used to rural properties, there are mouse traps downstairs, and they did catch mice during our stay. We also discovered near the end of our trip that there were portable A/C units stored in the closets, which would have been helpful to know sooner. If you plan to cook often, consider bringing disposable baking pans or extra cookie sheets, as there were only a few available and they were fairly well-used.These aren't complaints—just things I wish I had known ahead of time. Overall, this is a quiet, peaceful location about 30 minutes from Cody. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful river views, plenty of space, and a pet-friendly environment, this is a great option.

Beautiful views all around the home. We seen Mule deer, white tail deer and elk behind the house! Great communication with the owner. Wouldn’t think twice about a return visit.
