A Grade II listed detached cottage with an open fire, set in an idyllic picturesque valley alongside the magnificent ruins of Rievaulx Abbey - a warm welcoming ambience is assured.. 4 steps to entrance.

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for open fire included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request.. Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 4 steps and a drop from a wall in the garden.. Comfortable, spacious home in a stunning location. Warm enough for a cold February stay. Beautiful snowdrops in the large secure rear garden. Rievaulx Abbey on the doorstep with a great cafe. Walks from the door, country and Abbey views from windows. Cosy indoors and very well and thoughtfully equipped.

We loved Mill House. It had everything that we needed and more! The dogs had fun in the enclosed garden and we enjoyed seeing the house martins and bats flying around. The location was fabulous with great walks from the door and so many places to visit. We were very sad to leave!

We have visited this cottage three times - the only cottage we have rented more than once. It is excellent for dogs and roomy for the family. Drawbacks are the beds are very soft for our preference and, not being used to an Aga, it is difficult to prepare meals.

A wonderful cottage, peaceful, with a large garden. Very comfortable with imaginative décor. We had a problem with the alarm system but it was dealt with.
