Escape to a comfortable cabin tucked into the bluffs of Northeast Iowa, where you can spend the day exploring the Driftless Area and Mississippi River and come back to a quiet place to relax.
Our cabin is a great fit for families and small groups looking for an affordable home base for an outdoor getaway. With two bedrooms and sleeping space for up to 8 guests, there's room to bring the whole group without needing a large vacation home.
Enjoy the Outdoors
The cabin puts you close to some of the best outdoor experiences in the area. Spend your day hiking the trails of Yellow River State Forest, exploring Effigy Mounds National Monument, fishing or boating on the Mississippi River, or taking a scenic drive through the Driftless Area.
When you're ready to slow down, you don't have to go anywhere. Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening meal in the screened gazebo, gather around the fire pit, or simply take in the peaceful bluffside setting.

- Two bedrooms with sleeping space for up to 8 guests
- Full kitchen for preparing meals
- Comfortable living area
- Screened gazebo with outdoor seating

The cabin was the perfect size for my husband and I and our 3 kids. The one bedroom was geared more towards kids, so they loved sleeping on the bunk beds with the pull out mattress. The kitchen was spacious for us to cook meals while we were there. It was nice and clean upon arrival. We had a great stay!

Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Very responsive host. Clear instructions for check in and check out. Useful information for our stay in Harpers Ferry. At the house we had everything needed for our stay. We enjoyed hiking in Yellow River state Forest and Effigy Mounds National Monument during our stay.

Great cabin to stay in, our family enjoyed the openness of the kitchen and living area as well as the bunk beds in the bedrooms. Area was quite with great scenery. We will definitely try to stay again if we are in the area and the cabin is available.
