A great coastal base for a small family wanting to disover this area with beautiful beaches and traditional seaside attractions.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Enclosed lawned garden with garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Nestled in a quiet side row, Sweet Pea Cottage, a semi-detached property, provides a great coastal holiday base from which to explore the local area and, while its location is quiet, it has lots of local facilities and conveniences on hand. Named after a 12th century Lord, Heacham is situated on a coastal area known as The Wash and is in the heart of lots of beautiful beaches and tourist attractions. For all the fun of the fair, you can head to Hunstanton where the beach seems to literally go on for miles, and you will find a small fairground, traditional seaside amusements and a Sea Life Centre. Norfolk Lavender, Caithness Crystal and Langham Glass are all close by and also within easy reach lies the city of King’s Lynn with its historical old quarter and guided walks. For a traditional seaside resort, you should head to Wells-next-the-Sea, with its narrow gauge railway and picturesque quay. In fact, it’s a great place for pottering, enjoying the mix of traditional and artisan shops and numerous places to eat. Add in National Trust properties and stately homes such as Holkham Hall, great walks and cycle routes, golf courses, bird watching and wildlife viewing opportunities, you will quickly see why this part of the Norfolk coast is so very popular. We had a wonderful stay, the reason I give it a 4 is just because the bathroom needs tidying up around the shower. We had a issue with the heating that was promptly sorted, it's a good base and a cozy and warm cottage. Good safe secure outdoor space for our dog.

Sweet Pea cottage was a perfect cozy retreat from the lockdown chaos. The house itself is well equipped and tastefully decorated and Heacham is an ideal based for exploring Norfolk. Our host was compassionate and helpful.

A lovely little cottage in the perfect location, with lots of local amenities and an easy drive to anything else you wanted. Walking distance to a lovely beach. We had a really nice few days here. It was very clean and well cared for. The only reason I’ve marked it down on value for money is because we did pay quite a lot for a 4 night stay in my opinion, but we booked last minute and demand was high so this was our choice. Floorboards are very creaky which was a slight issue with a light sleeping 2 year old! We contacted the owner while we were there and she was very helpful and quick to reply so thank you! Overall I would definitely recommend.
