Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Wet Room: Shower, Toilet, Shower Seat, Grab Rail. Travel cot.. All properties: Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer (shared). Sitting-out area with garden furniture and barbecue. Unfenced grassed area suitable for play and access to several acres of farmland for walking. Private parking. Wheelchair access - adapted for assisted wheelchair users. No smoking on-site.. Situated in a courtyard of similar properties, these comfortable cottages are adjacent to the owners home and 8 acres of land, in the heart of the Blackdown Vale, an AONB, where the countryside is alive with deer, buzzards and pheasants, and just 4 miles south of Shaftesbury, where the famous Gold Hill is located. Nearby there is golf, gymnasium, fishing, 1 mile, and cycle paths and walking. Within easy driving, the historic towns of Blandford and Salisbury. Visit Longleat House and Safari Park, 22 miles, Stourhead House and Gardens, Kingston Lacey and Yeovil Air Museum, and the New Forest, where ponies roam, and the popular South Coast seaside resorts of Weymouth, 25 miles, Bournemouth and Poole, 22 miles. Would happily book again, the owners & their family that live on site were very welcoming, everything we needed was there, peaceful , in a beautiful area but close enough to all the attractions & seaside.

On arrival we were met by the family and made to feel welcome and they gave us good information on the local shops pubs and local attractions inside there where lots of brochures on the surrounding areas are there attractions. In the cottage it had every thing that was needed just like home there was even a separate laundry room if you wished to use it there was also a patio area around the back with table and chairs which was great for us with having two big dogs and you can also walk them around the gardens and fields owned by the family.

Nice quiet location within driving distance to attractions i.e. Gold hill, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Longleat, seaside. Local walks also nice.
