☆☆ HISTORY ☆☆
In a time where most women were unfortunately seen as property themselves, this unique property was owned by Eliza Gray. Erected in the early 1800's but lovingly maintained over the course of centuries, this home has all the original character with plenty of stories to tell.
☆☆ FIRST FLOOR ☆☆
As you enter the home you are greeted with gleaming, wide plank, hardwood floors and an open concept living and dining space that seamlessly spills through double glass doors into a quaint and private garden. Off the living and dining room is the updated kitchen with butcher block counter tops and over-sized breakfast bar. The full kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a home cooked meal. Rounding out the main floor is the family room with the original exposed beams and the first floor full bath with walk in shower. This bedroom features a daybed with trundle - space for two to sleep!
☆☆ SECOND FLOOR ☆☆
Head up the windy staircase to the second floor and you'll find three additional bedrooms. The first bedroom immediately at the top of the stairs features a queen bed and a large walk-in closet. In the middle of the hall you’ll find the another bedroom with a twin bed, and a desk for remote workspace. On this floor you will find a large bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The master bedroom boasts a king bed, high ceilings, and a walk in closet with convenient laundry machines.
☆☆ OUTDOOR SPACE ☆☆
Step outside and you will find a patio and a small fenced in yard area, a rare gem in the heart of Salem. There is also a bistro table for 2 for outdoor dining.
Guest access
You'll have access to the entire house. Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP.

• Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM
• Check-out is 11:00 AM or earlier
• No early check-in or late check out
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM

This is a very quaint and lovely house in a fabulous location in walking distance to town. It was very clean with comfortable beds and had all the amenities one could wish for - including great AC. The host was very responsive and helpful.

The house was beautiful and spotless. Walking distance to many attractions. shopping and restaurants. Host was very responsive. Definitely would recommend this house and host.

The home was just that - a home. That’s what it felt like. Clean, all the kitchen accessories one would need, easy directions throughout the house & a large tv we never turned on :)Didn’t need it. Nice sitting area/living room to hang out & talk. 4 bedrooms, all very clean. Also hung out in the large kitchen. Extras throughout the home. While it rained Thursday & was overcast Friday, we were able to walk around a bit on Friday & then a few long walks on Saturday in 70 sunny weather. The description was spot on as there were dom many attractions, Taverns, pirate museums, shops, etc within 8 minutes. Overall a great stay - we were also able to fit 2 SUVs in the driveway (no room to spare) but do to weather did not utilize the small backyard. Our host Rachel was always a text away & answered every question I had in a very timely manner.If we come back to this area (we attended a wedding), we would definitely stay here again. Thanks Rachel
