Enjoy Suffolk’s countryside and coast from this beautiful cottage, which is just 5 miles from the ever popular town of Southwold.. Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: 32" Freeview TV, Bluetooth Speaker, Woodburner
Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Combi Microwave/Oven/Grill, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Freeview TV Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet
First Floor:
Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Freeview TV
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Oil central heating (electric underfloor heating in kitchen), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area, boules court and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This beautiful, detached cottage sits on a tranquil lane in Blythburgh in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Heritage Coast of north-east Suffolk. Thoughtfully decorated throughout, Hogsnorting Villa boasts two double bedrooms, two shower rooms, contemporary kitchen and a cosy living room with a wood burner and Wi-Fi. The enclosed garden is a perfect setting to enjoy a relaxing drink after a busy day exploring.
Suffolk is a picturesque county, ideal for those who enjoy history, culture, walking and charming rural scenery. Its gently undulating countryside and fantastic seaside resorts offer a perfect retreat at any time of year.
With local views across the Blyth estuary and close to the ever popular town of Southwold, Hogsnorting Villa is the perfect base to explore the Suffolk countryside and coast.
There is a lovely pub and restaurant just 150 metres from the cottage and boasts stunning views of the mere from its large garden. Pop across the road to see the famous carved angels on the ceiling of Holy Trinity Church, the Cathedral of the Marshes.
Explore the area on foot via the network of footpaths. From the rear of the pub take the footpath alongside the estuary that follows the old railway line, through a nature reserve, to the beach at Warblerswick. Or head inland from the recreated Blythburgh station to Wenhaston and beyond.
The delights of Southwold, RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich Heath, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh are just a short drive away, as are Valley Farm Vineyards at Wisset and the cheese room at Friday Street farm shop near Farnham is a must.

The villa is amazingly appointed, the owners have put a lot of thought and experience into making sure that you want for nothing on your break. They provide a welcome pack which is so well thought out. The accommodation is lovely and clean, full of character but beware low beams upstairs in particular can catch you out! The stairs are steep but this is well documented and given the age of the property is to be expected. We all enjoyed our break, the white hart pub is lovely and serves lovely food. We will be back, Hogsnorting Villa is a little gem in this beautiful area. The dogs loved the walks and everywhere is so dog friendly. If you want a holiday with your furry sidekick then this is perfect. I can't rate this highly enough.
