The Wonderful Houses, located in Arco da Calheta, are a charming property designed for those seeking tranquillity and direct contact with nature.

This true oasis invites you to slow down, rest and enjoy the surrounding serenity, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Here you will find a welcoming and harmonious environment, with several common areas ideal for relaxing — from reading nooks and gathering spaces to sunrooms and small contemplation areas in the garden. Fruit trees, plants and flowers make up this idyllic setting, creating the perfect place for those who wish to reconnect with nature in its purest state.

During your stay, you will be able to enjoy a shared swimming pool, perfect for leisure and relaxation moments, and a fully equipped shared laundry room for your convenience. Parking on the property is subject to availability, but as it is a quiet rural area, it is easy to park in the surrounding area.

Among the various accommodations at Casas Maravilha, the Baú stands out as a small refuge where comfort and charm meet.

This chalet was designed to welcome up to two people and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay: a double bed with private bathroom and a fully equipped, practical and functional kitchen.

Outside, you will find a dining area with a barbecue and a private leisure space, ideal for enjoying outdoor moments, surrounded by nature.

The Arco da Calheta is known for its mild climate, the natural beauty that surrounds it and the hospitality of its people. Despite being located in the high areas of the municipality, in just a few minutes by car you will be able to reach the centre of Calheta village, where you will find supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, the Casa das Mudas Museum and the white sand beach. At Calheta marina, you can also experience unique activities, such as whale watching tours and various water sports.

Guests are responsible for the proper use of the accommodation and its respective equipment. Damage, loss or misuse identified during or after the stay may be subject to the application of a damage fee, intended to cover repair, replacement or extraordinary cleaning costs.

Since 2017, we have welcomed travellers from all over the world to our beloved island of Madeira, with a commitment to providing memorable experiences and excellent service. We started as Madeira Sun Travel, a name that reflected the sun, comfort and welcoming spirit that has always guided us.

Over time, we realised that we wanted to go further: more closeness, more authenticity, more connection.

That's how Homie was born. More than a new name - a new way of being.

Each stay is thought through in detail to be special and welcoming. Each house has its own story. And each guest is received as an old friend.

Beyond comfort and hospitality, we also provide, upon request, additional services such as car rental, activity bookings, personalised experiences and much more - all so that you can make the most of Madeira.

Whether you are a traveller looking for a special spot or a property owner looking for someone to care for your home with dedication, you are in the right place.
