Anne Hathaway’s cottage is only 200 yards from this pretty cottage, with beams, inglenook fireplace and four poster bed.. 1 step to entrance.

Living/dining room: TV, DVD Player, CD Player, Electric Fire
Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Washer Dryer
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet
First Floor:
Bedroom: Four Poster Double (4ft 6in) Bed. Night storage heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Telephone (honesty box). Courtyard with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: The footpath to access the courtyard is shared. The bedroom has uneven floor.. A famously historic location! This very pretty listed cottage is only 200 yards from Anne Hathaway’s beautiful and famous cottage. It is of similar style and period, much smaller and one of a group. With many original and quirky features including beams, a feature inglenook fireplace and lead mullion windows. Situated in the quiet village of Shottery, about 1 mile from the centre of Stratford, with easy access to the many and varied attractions of this historic town catering for all interests, and in a quiet setting away from the bustle. Historic Warwick, Kenilworth, Evesham and the Cotswolds are all close by. Shop and pub serving food ¼ mile.

Oh this place was just wonderful. Cannot recommend highly enough. So quaint, olde worlde and comfortable. Absolutely charming. Bed was sooo comfortable. Lounge warm and cosy. Kitchen small, not modern but has everything you need and is in keeping with the rest of the house. We stayed for 2 weeks in late January/Early February and it was always warm inside. I would live there all year round if I could! Oh and very very reasonably priced for those 2 weeks.

The bath towels need to be larger as they are too small. The addition of a non slip mat for the bottom of the bath would make the taking of a shower safer.

This is a perfect English cottage. We could walk to the local pubs, tea room and store. All less than a mile. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who loves English charm.

Quaint old character cottage conveniently situated in a charming village with great pub & restaurant.
Cottage needs a little extra TLC on some of the fitting and also needs a small table to rest drinks whilst watching tv so as to not need to put on floor or settee where they could be easily knocked over. Also a grab handle to aid access & exit from shower/ bath would be adventageous and safer as there is quite a drop to the floor but will hopefully return next year as thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
