From this holiday property, explore the Norfolk Broads, and all that it has to offer.. 4 steps to entrance.

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Small enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are horses and chickens in the surrounding area.. This cosy holiday retreat is set in beautiful countryside and it has been cleverly converted to offer the perfect location to relax and unwind in or explore the many attractions in the area. Adjoining the owner’s home with its fully enclosed pretty garden, it is set in the village of Cantley just 3 miles from the riverside inns in the village of Reedham, where boats can be hired and visitors can enjoy a spot of fishing, or simply watch the waterborne world go by. Cyclists and walkers will love to explore the many surrounding quiet country lanes and nearby Breydon Water is a paradise for bird watchers. Acle, a delightful market town, is 5 miles away and Winterton’s glorious beach, with its 6-mile walk offers seal watching. Cromer for its famous seafood and Wroxham (the capital of the Broads) are all a short drive. Catch the train from the nearby station or drive to the medieval city of Norwich, with its fine shopping, cathedral and castle. Golf, fishing and RSPB reserves are within easy reach. Shop 3 miles pub serving food ½ mile.

Had a great week at the stables very homely and good hosts , all the mod consin the kitcen . NIce comfortable bed and bathroom adjacent with shower and bath.L oved the chickens abd geese outside and horses in fields a real country evprience , right in the middle of the broads so everything is in touching distance Mr & mrs .smith

What can one say just great beautiful place everything you need and so much space .inside was so clean and much bigger than what we thought and everything you needed in the kitchen .outside lovely garden quiet surrounded by the horses and birds the hens ,chickens,duck and the three beautiful peacocks which would come so close was able to feed them all each morning. the owners were friendly and welcoming. We visited all surrounding areas which were very easy to get to and mostly dog friendly which she really loved running around on the beach in and out of the water and the lovely lakes near by .also visited the near by pub which was very busy and could understand why after ordering food so fresh large portions and not badly priced. Can't say one bad word about our stay at all and are already planning our next visit

Just got back from a fabulous week at the old stables. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and equipped very well. Lovely welcome from host with a bottle of wine, and fresh eggs The grounds had chickens, ducks, peacocks and lots of horses.The surrounding area had a train station not far away which went to Great Yarmouth or Norwich.Local pubs did fabulous food, staff very friendly It is a very tranquil cottage no car sounds which is a bonusThankyou to Imogen and hopefully we will come back soon

Well presented cottage , spotlessly clean . About 15 minutes from the coast and a mile from the nearest pub , ideal for exploring the broads. Great value for money.
