We had 2 lovely quiet weeks over the holiday period - the first week was very wet & windy, the river was extremely high, but we were nice & cosy in the cottage. The second week was a lot better and enjoyed walks & runs around Kentra bay to singing sands & around the castle. As like a lot of the Highlands there's not a lot open in the winter months, but the local store is ok for the essentials, we fully expected this though. The cottage it's self was nice and cosy & the owners kept us topped up with fire wood as the burner is the main source of heating. We had no problems lighting it each morning. There isn't anything extra that we could have needed - everything we needed & a nice welcoming box ðŸ‘I think we will be back as it's a lovely area with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the country side & wildlife
