In the heart of Hudson, New York, you'll find this lovely two-bedroom getaway. Nestled just minutes from the Olana State Historic Site, the Hudson River, and HITS-on-the-Hudson, this cozy retreat offers the perfect base for your getaway.
Unwind in the comfort of your home-away-from-home, complete with all the essentials you need. Enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, catch up on your favorite shows on the smart TV, or simply relax and soak in the peaceful ambiance. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for whipping up delicious meals, and the in-unit washer and dryer make it easy to keep your clothes fresh during your stay.
When you're ready to explore, you'll find a wealth of local attractions just a short drive away. Immerse yourself in the rich history of the Olana State Historic Site, take a scenic stroll along the Hudson River, or experience the excitement of HITS-on-the-Hudson. With the convenience of on-site parking and a travel crib available, this vacation home is perfect for families and couples alike.
POOL AVAILABILITY & HEATING:
The pool is open during the warmer months from mid-April to October 14th. If confirmed available, there is a $150/day fee for pool heating at this home.
Once the heating fee is settled, the pool will be set to an auto-non-adjustable 77-82°F degrees to avoid bacterial growth.
Please contact the Concierge team at least 72 hours before your arrival if you want the pool heated for your stay between the months mentioned.
Note: Pool service is scheduled every Tuesday at Wander Hudson Ridge. While we aim to minimize any inconvenience, please be aware that the service team may need to access the pool area briefly during your stay.
CELL SERVICE
You may experience cell service disruption in this part of New York. To ensure you have no issue with arrival, please be sure to program your GPS ahead of time in a service area.
OFF-GRID HOME
Wander Hudson Ridge may have limited cell reception for select carriers, so we recommend taking a screenshot of the WiFi login ahead of your arrival to avoid disruption.
NO SMOKING
No smoking or vaping inside. Open flames including candles are also prohibited. Exceptions are birthday candles or fire in a designated fire pit or fireplace. A fine of $1,000 will be applied to any guest found violating this policy.
SAFETY NOTICE
Due to ongoing dry weather, several local towns have implemented a burn ban. Please remain FIRE AWARE, as gusty winds and extremely dry conditions pose a heightened risk. We recommend refraining from any outdoor burning until conditions improve with anticipated rain.
PET FEE & POLICY
This home is pet-friendly and welcome to your furry friends during your stay. However, I do have some rules and a pet fee to preserve our home’s delicate luxury furniture and linens.
• Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, or spa facilities.
• Pet owners will be responsible for damage and charged through their payment on file.
• Our pet fee is $350/stay, charged at check-out. The fee goes to the cleaner for the extra work required after a pet stays.
NOTE: This fee does not cover damage by breaking the pet policy rules. Please note that we’ll be charging any extra damages done to the property by your pet.

Parties or events are not allowed unless prior written approval is given by our team. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a fine.

462 Mount Merino Road in Hudson, NY, is a modern glass house set on 25 bucolic acres, just minutes from Hudson. With some attention to detail, this home could be a top tier getaway. ******Positives• Strong WiFi made remote work and streaming seamless.• Coffee lovers will appreciate both an espresso machine and an auto-drip coffee maker.• The grounds are beautifully landscaped, with rolling hills and wildflower fields creating a peaceful atmosphere.• Bedding and towels were comfortable.• Communication with the host was responsive and helpful.• The hot tub is a standout.• Dog-friendly policies made traveling with pets easy.• The house is equipped with smart TVs and smart home features and everything actually works. • A thoughtful welcome basket with snacks added a warm touch.******Negatives• The guest bathroom shower was non-functional, and the faucet leaked, forcing us to use a single shower.• The master shower also had a leak in the front left corner near the toilet room.• The Wander app, intended for guest use, was not user-friendly.• Several kitchen items were dirty upon arrival, including cups, a spoon, a cutting board, and bowls.• Cabinets had a persistent onion smell.• Some areas were dusty, outdoor had noticeable cobwebs.• The AI concierge was not helpful.• No arrival instructions were provided, making check-in unnecessarily delayed. - Heating the pool was a huge issue and never happened- 2 large and dogs wandered from the neighboring property
