This cottage is a great base from which to explore both the Lake District National Park and the Cumbrian coastline.. Ground Floor:
Living room: 42" Freeview TV, Netflix, Open Fire
Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Fuel for open fire available locally. . Large lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture (shared with neighbouring property). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are steps in the garden but flat access to all lawned areas of the garden, River Crake is unfenced, 100 yards away.. Sunny Beck is a delightful, semi-detached cottage, nestled in an enviable corner, rural and very private location within the hamlet of Low Nibthwaite, originally part of the local sawmill, dating back to the 1700’s. It is set in a ½-acre of mature gardens, with shrubs, lawns and seating areas and you can enjoy private fishing rights from anywhere along the boundary of Sunny Beck Cottage. There are excellent walking and mountain biking trails from the doorstep around the shores of Coniston Water and surrounding fells. The large garage/barn is ideal for storing your car, bikes and boats, with additional private parking for two cars. This is the ideal holiday home to use as a spring board for the visiting the Lake District National Park. Beach 10¼ miles. Shop 4½ miles, pub and restaurant 1¼ mile.
Sunny Beck can be booked with Riverside Cottage (ref UK1367) adjacent to sleep up to 10 guests.

Due to the nature of this property and land there are a number of drops within the grounds of about 1.5 metres and so children must be supervised at all times. There is an unfenced stream in the garden. Access to the back garden area, is from steps at the door of the property, not the gate with 'private' written on. This property is next door to UK1367 which shares the garden

3 rd visit to sunny beck yes it could do with some tlc carpets could do with a clean well equipped place. But I would take everything you need to cook ie salt ,pepper,oil cooking foil washing up liquid , tea and coffee luckily because we had been before we packed everything as didn’t want to spend our time shopping the gardens are beautiful but who ever was in the cottage hadn’t cleaned up after there dog and there was used poo bags on the wall outside and dog poo on lawn would recommend a baby gate a bottom of stairs to stop dogs and children being able to climb up them

First class ground floor cottage. immaculate throughout, tastefully decorated, well stocked kitchen.
Lacks nothing and also in a nice quiet location, with a very nice couple of hosts in carol and david, not forgetting pippin
