A wonderful, post-Labor Day getaway for those who would avoid the high-summer bedlam on Auburn Lake. Our mid-week, three-day stay encountered but a single jet ski; thus, we frolicked and swam off the paddle boat (provided) for hours without a wake in sight. Of the cottage amenities and overall impression let me say, simply, that we've never encountered a more thorough or conscientious host. The cottage offered comprehensive engagement on every aspect of our stay, from the vessel used to fill the coffeemaker to the motion-sensitive lights bordering the stairway down to the lake. Free firewood and an early check-in to boot. Just fantastic!
