Grange End Stables is a perfect getaway for couples looking to enjoy some of Lakeland’s finest scenery close by.. 3 steps to entrance.
Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: Freeview TV, Electric Woodburner
Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Highchair.. Small enclosed courtyard garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: This property is accessed through the garden of Coach House (ref UK1330).. Nestled away in a quiet corner of Grasmere, you will enjoy the comfortable accommodation this charming cottage has to offer, with exposed timber beams and beautiful décor. The River Rothay meanders nearby and you are surrounded by stunning scenery – where better to be placed?
The cottage adjoins another similar property, and enjoys the benefit of your own parking space. Leave the car behind and head off with plentiful walks and fells right on the doorstep, yet just a few moments away is the popular village of Grasmere with everything from tea shops to fine dining, and of course the famous ‘Grasmere Ginger Bread’. If you prefer to stay in, the secluded courtyard seating area is an ideal place to sit and enjoy the warmer evenings. Why not visit some of the many places that inspired Beatrix Potter, or for a more relaxing day out, take a trip on the nearby Windermere cruises, just remember to bring your camera. Beach 29 miles. Shop and pub 500 yards, restaurant 200 yards.
Grange End Stables can be booked together with Coach House (ref UK1330) and Riversdale (ref UK11444) to accommodate up to 16 guests.

We stayed here as a family of three, 2 adults, 1 teenager, and 2 small dogs. There is plenty of room in what I would describe as a cosy cottage. The cottage is full of character and retains lovely features. We found the cottage warm and comfortable. The garden area is very dog friendly, easy to keep clean and very secure. It was a great base to stay for 4 nights and a much needed welcome break from our pub life. We got lucky with the weather, too! We look forward to returning sometime next year. Thank you for the gifts for every guest 👨â€ðŸ‘©â€ðŸ‘¦ ðŸ¾

Lovely cosy little cottage about a 10 minute stroll from the centre of Grasmere with fabulous walks right on the doorstep.
Our working cocker spaniel loved it too

Great cottage, extremely cozy, the owners went through a great length to make us feel welcome . Our stay was amazing , loved every bit . Would definitely recommend
