Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. The Bishop’s Court is a beautiful holiday home which has been tastefully furnished. Situated within York’s ancient city walls, in an attractive courtyard just a few minutes’ walk from the historic city centre with its splendid minster. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, which leads to a stylish and relaxing living room. York’s quaint cobbled streets lead to a plethora of wonderful shops, chic wine bars, restaurants and tea shops; something for everyone! York has many attractions including Jorvik Viking Centre, York Dungeons, Castle Museum and the National Railway Museum, all within walking distance. The racecourse and designer shopping outlet are within a 10 minute drive. Both the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach. Shop and pub 400 yards.

What a fantastic place to stay, the location couldn't of been better within the City walls and only a 10 min walk from the station. The place was extremely clean and comfortable with everything that you would need for a stay. It would be a 5 star review but the floorboards are so loose and noisy on the first floor. If you go to the bathroom especially at night you wake the whole house. That aside we would definately stay at this property again

Fantastic house near the centre of York. It had everything you could have wanted and was to a very high standard. The 2 bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was really good. Lovely to have a private parking space. The price we paid was very competitive considering the price of similar accommodation in York. If we visit York again we’ll definitely stay in this little gem again.

Brilliant location, clean, well equipped kitchen, walking distance to all major locations, did not need a car, Carole is a brilliant host and very accomodating to our needs.

It was a fantastic week. The home is a real home from home in a great location a short walk to the city centre and to the railway station. It has everything you need to cook. Such a beautiful house in a stunning city.
