Beside the properties is a footpath leading to farmland, and close by are sandy beaches, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath (National Trust), whilst Aldeburgh is a little further. Castles, a wildlife park and Sutton Hoo are easily accessible. Farm shop 2 miles and market town of Halesworth 3 miles, shop and village pub within 1 mile..
