Enjoy life on the farm whilst staying at this sympathetically converted barn which is set in the Derwent Valley.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Four Poster Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. WiFi included. Travel cot available on request. Shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Welcome pack.. Shared enclosed courtyard with garden furniture. Shared grounds with BBQ area. Bike store. Private parking for 1-2 cars. Smoking permitted. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring.. Set on a working farm with plenty of natural grounds to explore, this 18th-century barn conversion lies in a courtyard setting and provides a peaceful and idyllic retreat in the Derwent Valley. The owners have taken great pride in maintaining some original features whilst incorporating all the modern day necessities to make Robins Nest an incredibly comfortable place to spend a memorable holiday. Guests can observe the day-to-day activities of the working farm, and watch the chickens wandering around the gardens. This location is within easy reach of many of Derbyshire’s attractions, particularly nearby Matlock and Matlock Bath, Bakewell, Carsington Water and stunning Chatsworth House. A lovely, clean, and cosy cottage that offers a brilliant place to stay in Cromford with plenty to do in nearby surrounding areas. My partner and I had a lovely time staying here and would like to thank the owners for their hospitality during our stay and preparing the ideal place for us. Ideal and affordable pricing, very good value for money. We really enjoyed it!

Perfect mini break away for the two of us, beautiful little cottage situated in stunning countryside whist still being close to amenities nearby. Special mention to the owners for ensuring our safe arrival in the snow and ice, they went above and beyond to get us to our cottage5 stars

Robin’s nest is an excellent cottage for a short break. The location is on a working farm with horses, cattle, sheep, dogs and cats. It is very quiet but a short walk of approximately 20 minutes into the centre of Cromford. We can recommend the Boat Inn for meals. The cottage is clean and comfortable and in a very quiet location. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The kitchen was well equipped with microwave, cooker, toaster, dishwasher, and kettle. There was a lovely sitting out area, but we didn’t use it because it was cold when we visited in January. It is a good spot if you like walking holidays.
