This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. This historic upper apartment is within 1/2 mile of Downtown Eau Claire's shops, restaurants, and bars. It's also a 10-minute drive from the music festival grounds (Eaux Claires, Blue Ox, Country Jam) and a 1-minute drive from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. This house is full of character, amenities with a pet friendly back yard.

Great location, spacious, cozy property. Host was great with communication. Perfect for our long weekend stay.

The unit was so clean and cute. We only had 2 but definitely could have 6 people easily - just know there are almost 20 stairs to the unit. Within walking distance to the downtown area and Water Street district. Highly recommend

We've stayed in The Krause Home twice and enjoyed our visit both times. The apartments are clean, nicely furnished, generally well appointed and close to downtown and the university. My husband and I both like to read in the evening and early morning. There is only one bedside lamp in both bedrooms in the Krause apartment and only one lamp on one side of the sofa in the living room, making reading difficult. So, an already good apartment would benefit from some better lighting.
