Welcome to our stunning mountain retreat with a hot tub, kiva fireplace, hammock area, game room, and breathtaking mountain views. Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and entertain yourselves in the game room with arcade, pool/ping pong table, and board games. Outside, relax in the hot tub, unwind in the hammocks, or admire the views. Only minutes away from hiking and outdoor activities, Casa de Sueños is the perfect retreat for families and groups seeking an unforgettable getaway!
The space:
-Primary bedroom: upstairs, very private, king size bed and private bathroom
-Western room: upstairs, 3 twin size beds, 1 bunk bed with a twin on top and full size futon bed on the bottom, 1 twin bed with a twin size trundle, private bathroom
-Pink room: downstairs, 1 queen size bed
-Orange room: downstairs, 1 queen size bed, private bathroom
**The pink room will have to share a bathroom, the easiest one to share with will be the orange room since they're on the same level
Other sleeping areas:
Both living room couches can be expanded to turn into sleeping areas
- Multiple hiking areas nearby 🏜️(~10 mins)
-Museum of International Folk Art 🎨(~10 mins)
- Santa Fe Plaza 🎁(~15 mins)
- Canyon Road Galleries🖼️( (~15 mins)
- Ski Santa Fe ⛷️ (~40 mins)
Things to Note:
Each of the 3 bedrooms except the pink room has a privately attached bathroom. There are no common area bathrooms.
This home is over 50 years old and captures the charm of rustic Santa Fe with a slightly modern take. Because of that, temperatures can range throughout the house. To help with this, all common areas and every bedroom have their own heating and cooling units, with the exception of the pink room. That room, the hallway, and laundry room can sometimes get a little chilly or warm. There is a space heater in that room and with the door closed it stays perfectly warm. Socks will be a very good idea as most of the floors in the house are either tile or wood.
In the winter months (Nov - Mar), 4 wheel drive with snow tires is recommended. There is a steep hill getting up to the property and it can be difficult for regular vehicles when there's snow or ice on the road.

The location of this house is wonderful! The driveway was a bit steep, so I can see how four-wheel drive vehicles are needed, but we had no issues with access. The outdoor space was so fun to use and the kids really enjoyed being in the hot tub while it was snowing. Plenty of space for our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) to spread out and find our own space if needed, but also lots of good gathering areas to play games. The location was very convenient to get to downtown and enjoy all Santa Fe has to offer while still feeling like you're out in the peaceful countryside.

The home was perfect for our outdoorsy family of grandparents, kids and grandkids! We loved the game room, hot tub and outdoor area. The stargazing and sunsets were perfect endings to our days. It’s an easy and quick drive to Santa Fe, and convenient to beautiful hiking trails! Oh, and the communication with the property owner was top-notch.

Everything about our stay at this property exceeded expectations. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and arcade game. The internet and TV worked well. But the best part was the incredible views of the valley from the porch and patio, especially at sunset and at night. We really liked being at the top of a quiet mountain road, but also only minutes from town. A great place to stay.

Beautiful house - we loved the arcade room / sun room and hot tub in particular. Host was very easy to communicate with and responsive to questions. Location was good, private but ~15 minute drive to town. Sparkling clean house.
One small thing to note - it is 4 bedrooms but 3 bathrooms that are all in bedrooms (no communal bathrooms). Not a big deal, but definitely a bit inconvenient if you are using all 4 rooms
