When it's time to get out on the water, the local boat ramp is a quick two-minute drive down along the beach.

When you feel like venturing out for a day trip or two, Matarangi, Rings Beach, Simpsons Beach, and Otama are all a short drive away. Whitianga, Cooks Beach, and Hahei are also fantastic spots when you are after a bit of adventure further afield.
