About the Home:
Comfortable traditional 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home nestled in the heart of Anchorage. This side by side unit of a duplex is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped, our cozy house is the perfect base for both adventure seekers and those looking to unwind.
Features:
Relax in our open-concept living space featuring comfortable seating, a large flat-screen TV, and a dining area that comfortably seats eight. Let the conversation flow effortlessly as you gather with your loved ones after a day exploring the vast Alaskan wilderness.
Large Kitchen:
Our spacious kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, ample counter space, large fridge, a breakfast nook and all the essential cookware.
Three Spacious Bedrooms:
Each bedroom offers plush mattresses, soft linens, TVs and ample storage make for a restful stay.
Sleeping Arrangements:
-Primary Bedroom- King Bed w/in-suite bathroom
-Bedroom 2 -Queen Bed
-Bedroom 3- 2 Twin Beds
-Living Room- One Queen Inflatable matress provided
Outdoors:
Step outside and enjoy the crisp Alaskan air with your morning coffee in our private fenced front yard.
Location:
Situated on Greenland Drive, this is a family neighborhood located only a 10 minute drive from the Airport and about the same to Downtown. You will have a grocery store and plenty of places to dine in nearby. Lots of free street parking.
Guest Access:
Parking is either street parking in the front of the home or parking in the driveway off the back alleyway of the home. Plenty of space.
The Neighborhood:
With close access to the airport, grocery, coffee shops, and just a few minutes into downtown the Spenard neighborhood is a great choice to make for a hub during your stay in Anchorage. It could be your perfect spot to stop and rest after your flight before continuing to the next adventure.
Getting Around:
Rental car or vehicle is recommended, but there is Taxi, Uber, Lyft service usually available 24 hours a day in Anchorage as well.
Other Things to Note:
For our VRBO Bookings: if you are to cancel, we are unable to refund CC Fees associated with your reservation. We also hold a $300 deposit for you stay with us (which is released after your checkout). We appreciate your understanding to that matter.

The most positive thing I can say about this property is that it was centrally located to the places I was visiting and it held my group. However, the neighborhood is less than desirable with surrounding properties being a little run down. It's a duplex and the people living in the attached unit take up a lot of the parking with a large truck so if your party has two vehicles only one will fit. The backyard is shared and they let their dog use the entire space for "business".The negatives are mainly that the fireplace only worked for about an hour. After I contacted the host the second time it took over 24 hours to get a response that said they would check it out after I left.The second bathroom had a plugged bathtub drain and the shower tiles weren't clean. I found a hair puller under the sink and removed the clog myself, not my job and disappointing that management couldn't see fit to reimbursement me some of the cleaning fee. Their reason is that I didn't contact them immediately to fix the problem. I was in standing water - not going to call at that moment. I took a picture of the clog that was pulled out. No hand soap. Deep cleaning in between guests would have solved this issue. Again, management stated that they have little time in between guests. Maybe they should fix that issue so they can be more diligent.Mattresses are memory foam and the beds in master and third bedroom are very firm memory firm, not to my liking. Not a property I would rent from again.
