However, it is a fact that Bale has over 2400 sunny hours on average a year, which attracts a large number of tourists to the town. Only 20 minutes drive from Bale you will find Rovinj - once a small fishing village, today the most romantic town in Istria. Still untouched by modern urbanism, the town is dominated by the baroque church of St. Euphemia.
